Cherry Picking 101

Buckets & Bags

No need to bring your own, buckets of various sizes will be provided for you.   However, we do encourage you to bring you own reusable bag for checking out to minimize plastic waste.

Happy Hunting

Comb through the orchard for your favorite trees.  Be sure to look under the branches and leaves for hidden cherries!

Sweet or Tart

The darker the cherry, the sweeter it will be.  Occasional sampling of our cherries is welcomed!  However,  picnics are not allowed in the orchard.

Get the Stem

Pick the cherry with the stem intact.  This will help the cherries stay fresh longer.

Safety First

Please, do not climb on trees and no running throughout our orchard.  Watch out for uneven ground, sprinklers, and tree roots.  If using a ladder, please be very careful.

Be Nice

Please do not  break branches, throw fruit, or litter.  Be mindful of others around you.  When in abundance, please reserve low-laying cherries for small children.

You Shall Not Pass

Please stay within the marked property boundary lines and  do not trespass or pick fruit from our neighbors' orchards .

Pick Wisely

Pick only what you are willing to pay for.  Your cherries will be weighed and priced per pound.  Please do not bring backpacks or large purses into the orchard.

Most Importantly

Have fun!  Don't forget to take pictures! :)
